Our Purpose
The KU Center for Research (KUCR)
catalyzes research on the Lawrence campus. It submits, and negotiates
on behalf of KU, all proposals for external support of research,
instructional and service projects on the Lawrence campus. KUCR helps
research investigators prepare proposals and negotiate contracts,
crafts institutional policy, informs the campus about national
policy, conducts training programs, and provides information
on funding sources. KUCR also
facilitates technology transfer and communicates information
about research to the public. KUCR is
here to serve the KU research community - a community vital to
the university's mission and goals.
