Contract Negotiations

Contract Negotiations reviews and negotiates sponsored and other related research agreements and also issues subaward agreements. The office reviews material transfer agreements (MTAs) for materials coming to the university. (MTAs for material sent from KU are issued by KUCTC.) Contract Negotiations ensures conformance with university, agency, federal and state policies and regulations and is responsible for obtaining the authorized signature for agreements. The office does not provide legal advice.
