Associate professor receives book subvention award
Amy McNair, associate professor of art history, received the
Vice Provost for Research Subvention Award for the 2005-2006
academic year. McNair's book, "Donors of Longmen," is a patronage
study of the medieval Longmen Grottoes, one of China's most renowned
sculptural sites. The book will be published by the University
of Hawaii Press.
The award provides financial support from the Office of the
Vice Provost for Research to a KU faculty member for the costs
related to the publication of a manuscript based on humanistic
research. It is awarded annually by the Hall Center for the Humanities.
