Symposium showcases undergraduate research
The University Honors Program and the Office of the Vice Provost
for Research sponsored the 9th Annual Undergraduate Research
Symposium on Saturday, April 8. The event highlighted the research
of 69 undergraduate students from 32 different academic departments
from the Lawrence campus.
The program was comprised of oral and poster presentations from
KU undergraduate students about their research activities. C.
Russell Middaugh, Takeru and Aya Higuchi Distinguished Professor
of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, delivered the keynote address.
This year's symposium was the first to combine the efforts of
the University Honors Program and the Office of the Vice Provost
for Research.
