I2V Workshop Planned September 30 at Kauffman Foundation

The Office of Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property at the University of Kansas, along with the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, will host a one-day workshop Saturday, September 30, on the basics of technology entrepreneurship.

The workshop "Invention to Venture" (I2V), is intended primarily for college and university students, but is also open to anyone who wants to know more about the topic. The workshop is being held in cooperation with the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA). It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, 4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO.

The workshop fee is $10 for students, $25 for faculty members, and $75 for the business community. Lunch and a continental breakfast are included in the fee. Transportation to and from the event is available for Lawrence campus students.
