Research Recognition Award Nominations Sought

The University of Kansas has a long history of recognizing outstanding research. The Higuchi-Endowment Association Research Achievement Award program began in 1982 as a way to honor individual faculty doing research in four broad categories. This year, Vice Provost for Research Jim Roberts announced a new recognition program, the KU Research Achievement Award, that will be given each year to an academic staff researcher from the Lawrence campus.

Information on the qualifications and the nominating process for the programs can be found on the OVPR Web site. Please consider nominating a colleague. The deadline for Research Achievement Award nominations is October 6. Higuchi Award nominations must be received in the OVPR by December 8.
