KU Research Summit Update
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research and the Faculty Senate are pleased to host the first-ever KU Research Summit on Tuesday, January 16. The response to the event has been excellent, with almost 200 individuals planning to attend. Researchers, graduate students, post-docs, and university administrators in a variety of disciplines will be represented. Feedback from the event will be collected and shared.
The summit is patterned after KU’s successful teaching summit, and features a variety of discussion topics during three 50-minute break-out sessions. The summit will conclude with a group feedback meeting and box lunch. Richard Lariviere, provost and executive vice chancellor, will provide the opening session remarks.
