Bi-Campus Forum to Discuss Research Technology February 22

The KU Lawrence campus and KU Medical Center will host a research technology forum on Thursday, February 22 in the Kansas Room in the KU Memorial Union on the Lawrence campus.

FY 2008 General Research Fund (GRF) Competition Deadlines Set

Undergraduate Assistantship Fund Supports Student Research

The Undergraduate Research Assistantship (URA) Fund provides KU faculty with matching funds to hire undergraduate research assistants.  For the past year, over 70 faculty have used over $126,000 to hire 74 students to do research.

Costa Rican Administrator Visits KU

The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is co-hosting an eight-week fellowship at KU by a research administrator from the University of Costa Rica (UCR).  Cristina Alvarado, director of research support within the Office of the Vice Rector of Research, at UCR will be on campus through early March.

KUCR Proposal Services Branch Office in Strong Hall Now Open

The KU Center for Research Proposal Services branch office in 222 Strong Hall is ready to assist faculty and staff with the submission of externally-funded research grants.
