KU-RESADMIN: A new e-mail discussion list for issues related to research administration

The Office of the Vice Provost for Research has recently established KU-RESADMIN, a new e-mail discussion list for individuals on the KU Lawrence campus interested in issues related to research administration.

The discussion list will be used to distribute announcements and to provide a forum for questions regarding the administration of sponsored projects at KU. For example, this list will be used to announce upcoming events such as NCURA video workshops. List members are welcome to post questions and comments concerning the management and administration
of sponsored projects.

It is anticipated that the KU-RESADMIN list will deliver no more than 1-2 announcements per month. Only subscribers to the list may send an e-mail to the list. All e-mails sent to the list are reviewed by the list moderator before posting. The list of subscribers is available only to the list owners.

Subscription to KU-RESADMIN is open to all interested members of the KU community.

To subscribe to KU-RESADMIN:

• Send an e-mail TO Listproc@ku.edu
• Leave the subject line blank.
• Do not add a signature block. (Delete the signature block if your e-mail program automatically adds one to new messages.)
• The body of the message should contain only one line of text in the format below. Replace the italicized type with your personal information, separated by blank spaces as shown in the example below. Use only one word or acronym for your department.

FORMAT:
Subscribe KU-RESADMIN youremail@yourorg.edu lastname, firstname department

EXAMPLE:

You will receive a welcome message when you have been added to KU-RESADMIN.
