Youngberg HVAC Renovation Nears Completion

The renovation of Youngberg Hall’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems is nearing completion. By the end of May, it is expected that KU Center for Research (KUCR) departments displaced by the construction will return to Youngberg Hall.

In December, nearly half of KUCR’s staff relocated from Youngberg Hall to other locations in Strong Hall, the Multidisciplinary Research Building (MRB), the Life Sciences Research Laboratory, and Wakarusa Research Facility.

Departments returning to Youngberg include Proposal Services, Contract Negotiations, Sponsored Programs Administration, Human Subjects, Facilities Administration, and Research Communications. John Augusto, Rebecca Ryan, elise Waldron, and the Research Information Technology Help Desk will remain at the MRB.
