Acting on the recommendations of a faculty and staff committee, Provost Richard Lariviere announced in April a new structure for graduate education and research at KU’s Lawrence campus.
The University of Kansas was recognized recently by KansasBIO with a BIG Award, “honoring growth in academic research and development” at the Lawrence and Medical Center campuses.
Mechele Leon, assistant professor of theatre and film, received the
Vice Provost for Research Book Subvention Award for the 2006-2007
academic year.
Most KU Center for Research (KUCR) departments displaced by the construction are expected to return to Youngberg Hall by the end of May.
