Workshop prepares researchers for NSF energy initiatives
The workshop includes addresses by three energy and climate professionals, as well as breakout sessions to identify colleagues for collaboration on initiatives.

KU’s Institute for Policy and Social Research (IPSR) will hold its annual Kansas Economic Policy Conference Thursday, October 11.
Industry research funding opportunities available
Funds are used to support applied research projects that can lead to commercialization of new technologies. Participating companies can receive up to $500,000 per project under this program.
New faculty introduction to research planned
Topics include applying for a New Faculty General Research Fund grant; working with Proposal Services, Post-Award Services and Research Integrity; and understanding Facilities and Administration (F&A) reimbursement.
Vice provost for RGS search under way
|A national search has begun for a permanent vice provost for research and graduate studies. A review of candidates will begin in January.

Mertes remembered Oct. 18 & 19 with lecture, symposium, ceremony
