Global Entrepreneurship Week/USA dates set for 2008

KU celebrated Entrepreneurship Week USA last spring with a highly successful one-day “E-Fair” at the Burge Union.  Nationwide, the observance attracted 1,310 partners, stimulated 3,707 activities and directly engaged more than 481,000 participants.

On November 13, organizers will announce Global Entrepreneurship Week/USA.  Universities and other organizations worldwide are encouraged to hold events related to entrepreneurship during the week of November 17-23, 2008.  KU plans to participate in an appropriate way, in cooperation with technology transfer partners, faculty and students.  For more information about next year’s event, go to www.unleashingideas.org.
