Graduate competition and summit highlight research
To highlight research conducted by graduate students, the Graduate and Professional Association (GPA) is organizing two functions this semester that demonstrate the influence of graduate student research on the campus and the state of Kansas. Both events are sponsored by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.
The Graduate Research Competition will be March 12 in the Kansas Union from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a reception at 4 p.m. At the reception, GPA will hand out research awards to students presenting their research.
The Graduate Research Summit, held in conjunction with Kansas State University and Wichita State University at the Capitol in Topeka is the following day--Thurs., March 13. This event, which goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will highlight research from eight KU-Lawrence campus graduate students and its impact on the state of Kansas.
